Delicious Chicken and Wine Stew

Recipe steps:

  • Heat oil over medium-high heat in a large skillet.
  • Add chicken and cook until lightly browned, turning once. Transfer chicken to an 11 x 7 inch baking dish coated with cooking spray.
  • Add mushrooms and garlic to skillet; cook over medium-high heat until tender, stirring occasionally.
  • Combine flour and 2 tablespoons water, stirring until smooth. Add remaining water, wine, soup mix, parsley, and oregano; stir well.
  • Stir flour mixture into mushroom mixture. Cook over medium heat until slightly thickened.
  • Spoon mushroom mixture over chicken. Cover and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 1 hour.
