Healthy Pignot T Recipe

Ingredients used:

  • 1 cup - TVP

  • 1 cup - Bulgar
  • 2.25 cups - Water
  • 2 teaspoon - Beef flavor bullion
  • 5 shakes - Garlic powder
  • 5 shakes - Onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon - Oregano
  • 0.75 teaspoon - Sage
  • 0.25 teaspoon - Marjoram
  • Several drops - Liquid smoke
  • 1 teaspoon - Worchestershire sauce
  • 0.25 cup - Flour

Recipe steps:

  • In a large bowl, combine the TVP and Bulgar.
  • Add the seasoning ingredients and mix well.
  • Stir the egg whites (or Ener-G replacer) and flour into the mixture.
  • Using a 1/4 measuring cup, scoop up some of the mix and place on a lightly greased cookie sheet.
  • Form the mix into small patties (about 3 inches in diameter and 1/2 inch thick).
  • Bake the patties in an oven preheated to 350 degrees for 15 minutes, then flip and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
  • This recipe should yield 15-20 patties.
