- 1 medium - Onion
- 1 clove - Garlic
- 3 cups - Cooked rice
- 2 teaspoon - Spike seasoning
- 1/8 teaspoon - Cloves
- 2 - Egg whites
- 1 head - Cabbage
- 1 16 oz can - Chopped tomatoes
- 1/4 cup - Sugar
- 1/2 cup - Raisins
- 6 tablespoons - Rice vinegar
Recipe steps:
- Saute onion and garlic. Mix with rice, 1 teaspoon of Spike, cloves and egg whites. Place 2 tablespoons in the center of a cabbage leaf. Fold the sides up and roll up. Place seam side down in an 11-by-13-inch baking dish. Prepare additional rolls--there will be a total of 10 or 12.
- Mix tomatoes, raisins, the remaining teaspoon of Spike, sugar, and vinegar in a pot over low heat until sugar dissolves. Pour mixture over cabbage rolls. Bake at 375 degrees for 35 minutes. Serve with nonfat sour cream on the side.
