This Sour Cream Spice Cake is moist, flavorful and spiced just right. It’s made with margarine, brown sugar, eggs, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, water, sour cream, raisins and walnuts. It doesn’t get much better than this! Ingredients used:

- 0.3333 cup - Margarine
- 3 tablespoons - Brown sugar
- 2 - Eggs -- or equiv sub
- 2 teaspoons - Cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon - Ground cloves
- 1 teaspoon - Nutmeg
- 2 cups - Flour -- sifted
- 1 teaspoon - Baking powder
- 1.25 teaspoons - Baking soda
- 0.5 teaspoon - Salt
- 0.5 cup - Water
- 1 cup - Sour cream
- 0.5 cup - Raisins
- 0.25 cup - Walnuts -- chopped
Recipe steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease and flour a 13x9-inch baking pan.
- Cream together the margarine and sugar replacement until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs and beat well.
- Beat in the cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg.
- Sift together the flour, baking soda, powder and salt. Sift into the creamed mixture alternately with the water.
- Stir in the sour cream, raisins and nuts.
- Pour into prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes.
- Allow to cool before serving.
